Treasurer Dave Dix reported our bank balance is $2243.41. We have 29 members. He clarified that membership in our Chapter is separate from joining the national EAA.

Malcolm Morrison:

He is working on arrangements for our participation in UNV’s annual

Aviation Appreciation Day.

He explained the EAA “rebate” for the Young Eagles flights. For each of our pilots who fly a minimum of 10 YE flights, our Chapter earns 1 Point ($5).for that and each succeeding flight. We have already earned $390 from previous events. These funds are restricted to supporting Chapter activities or scholarships to the EAA Air Academy.

He also discussed a new type of latex based fabric glue which is quite easy to use and will not emit an unpleasant odor.

Randy Kilmer reported about 15 to 20 people enjoyed the recent Ski flyin at Centre Hall Airpark. We’ll make it an annual affair, and arrange to have food available.

Our annual flyin picnic at the Homan farm will be Sunday, June 20.
